Arani Cuthbert, the film’s producer, says, “The screening on Sunday night went down very well… about 600 people in a lovely old theatre, very much like a KIWI audience. This part of the US is so like NZ. Lovely to hear people laughing at all the right places, lots of wonderful comments afterwards.”

The Topp Twins are coming to the USA in June to attend a number of film festivals and play three live shows.
The finalists for the RIANZ Best Country Music Album 2010 were announced last week. The good news being that The Topp Twins are one of three finalists for Honky Tonk Angel. The other two finalists are The Bads for So Alive and Tami Neilson for The Kitchen Table Sessions.
The Topps recent performance with the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra at the Auckland Town Hall, was filmed for television and screened on TV3 last week. For those of you who missed it you can watch it online on TV3’s
