Congratulations! Well deserved. As a sister survivor, I had the honour of a conversation with Jools at the Hokonui Music Festival in 2008 and I was so impressed wwith her advice, it changed the course of my treatment. I’m all fixed up now. Off to get my new boob this month (cos I miss the old one so much – Lol).
I cried at the video footage of Jools during her treatment, shown in Balclutha in 2008 at the Rural Women’s Week show. Just a taste of how strong this lady is as well as her sister Linda. Keep doing what you do best girls! I’ve loved it since the 80’s!

Congratulations!!!!!! What a fantastic honour for you both. Have been a fan from the beginning, have met you both several times. Aunty Marie and Uncle Jim Topp are friends of my parents, and have known us for years. Can’t wait for the next instalment.

Well deserved honours for two girls who have given, and still are giving entertainment and music to so many of us on a daily basis. I sit and listen to both words and music of “flowergirls and cowgirls” as I write, and am overwhelmed with happiness and contentment. Thank you, may there be many more honours for you both.

Never been a country and western fan. Never really heard your music (tho’ did enjoy your tv show) but am now a convert. Went and saw your doco at Waiheke’s little picture theatre last night and loved every minute of it. Loved the singing and your lives and stories humbled me. Come back to Waiheke – I know you’ve been before because I’ve been (like all converts) telling everyone they must go and see it. All the best.
