It was so great to come home today and find this package on the front door step and think who is this from?????
Once the dogs were let out and I could have a look I knew this was good.
I think you have all done a brilliant job of letting the world know what those girls are about.
I am very proud to be part of it, they were some of the fondest memories I have.

Hi Linda and Julz,
I just wanted to say how much of a inspiration that you both are your love for one another and the love and support that you have towards your family and friends but most importantly one another.
I absolutly LOVED the movie my fi’ance and I went to see it in Whangarei cinerma when it first came out it was fantastic and to my surprise you showed my home town in Dargaville which was held in the town hall that my mum and my sister went to (I was about 7years old at the time) I do recall winning a t-shirt with your photo on it and signed by you, It was awesome. It actually would have been my sister that would have won it as she went to the toilet during the show in Dargville and I moved over and sat in her set and then I got the prize, (my sister didn’t like me much but she aventually got over it and we still love each other even more today and are best of friends).I think I still have the t-shirt some where..
So I am a fan from way back my sister and I followed you most of the way through your journey, we watched every show on tv and managed to tape the shows which my sister and I watched over and over at our grandparents place who also think that you are great even now.
Julz, I have to say how encouraging it was when I read about your cancer. At that same time my Nana was diognised with brest cancer and had her brest removed and she went through all the treatment but Thank God she is still with us today and fighting fit Prasie god for that. So my family know what you went through and it was really encouraging when I read your story knowing that we weren’t the only ones going through it. It was really uplifting to my nana when I showed her the articaul int the magazine. So I just wanted to say thanks..
My sister and I and our grandparents are looking forward to your live concert/tour in afew months time.
Best of luck with that and I look forward to everything ahead that is to come.
God bless you both, keep up the awesome work for NewZealand!!!!

Hey guys,
Just wanted to say i saw your movie and it was truly amazing. What an inspiration. As a young out lesbian its amazing to have suddenly found these incredible role models right here in NZ that i never knew too much about till now. Keep up the great work, and i cant wait to see the show on tour.
Cheers, Sara

Yes agreed Topp Twins are fantastic, not sure why comments on here seem to push why being a lesbian should make them any different than anyone else or why being gay or straight has anything to do with anything? I don’t hear anyone saying how great Billy T was just because he was a Maori or because he was Brown.

Hey yup good point..
October 25, 2009

For Aussie fans wishing to see “Untouchable Girls” on the big screen, check out the Palace Cinemas in most capital cities. Opens this Thursday 26th Nov. It may be on at others, but this is the ones I know of. Or contact Rialto Australia. Saw it last night in Brisbane at Palace Centro at a preview screening. Loved it! A different experience to DVD. The audience clapped at the end too. I’m going next weekend as well with someone else. Looking forward to it!

Well girls, what a film and a half! It was fabulous. My daughter and I saw it this evening in Sydney – yes, that’s right, across the ditch, and we loved it. We laughed, we cried, however, we didn’t yodel – leave that to the experts. Thanks Lynda and Jools.
