We’ve been quiet on the blog front lately . . .

. . . but the doco is making waves all over the world! The film is currently a global jet-setter (worthy of a frequent flyer gold pass!) and continues to entertain audiences worldwide.

Highlights in the last few months including winning the Dragon Audience Award for Best Feature Film (not just specifically documentary) at the Gothenburg International Film Festival in Sweden, winning the Audience Award for  Best Documentary at the Portland International Film Festival in the USA and winning a Special Jury Award at the FIFO Documentary Film Festival in Tahiti.

The Topp Twins and the Team are so grateful to everyone who has come out to see the film and recommended it to others. We will be updating the Festivals page with where and when the film is screening so keep an eye out.

You can also follow us on Twitter and Facebook and the blog will be updated a little more so watch out.

    Hi Girls

We just saw your movie at the Perth International Film Festival in Oz (Joondalup Pines)…..what a blast, the audience loved it as much as we did. Keep up the fabulous work of making important social & political points with humour.

We know you are busy entertaining and doing interviews etc, so you’re forgiven! (for not blogging much on here)
The movie is doing so well, hey? Fantastic! Just to get into those festivals is great, let alone all the awards it has won along the way! It shows that people all over the world appreciate quality entertainment and unique talent, and …well, you two!
    Happy Trails girls!

After picking up a January 2010 Listener last week, I have tried to contact you, Linda and Jules! I read about your past activism and your present commitment to the health of NZ rivers. With the sacking of ECAN by present Govt, our south island rivers are endangered..as is democracy in NZ. We have a non- partisan group that is passionate about protecting our rivers made up of Forest and Bird, Fish and Game, Green and Labour parties. A Hikoi is planned for 24th april ending in CHCH Cathedral Sq on 30th April.
Tomorrow we protest outside ECAN”s last council meeting…but we know this will be a long haul to revert the process!
Please let me know if you are interested and can be involved in some way… even from afar… or can generate some support through your networks!
